Today we tell you the most important thing you need to know to move freely around the city without extra cats or long waits. So that you enjoy your time and stay in “Baires”
Buenos Aires has a large and efficient public transport network, like taxis, bus, and a vast network of cycle lanes.
This is the important things to know about Getting Around. Especially to our #HJoyPeople (our guest) and any travelers in Buenos Aires:
1- The SUBE card:
Is the way to pay the travel by bus or Subte (underground metro) in Buenos Aires City, you’ll need to get a rechargeable sube travel card and charge it with credit. Yo can buy it at subte stations and at many “kioskos“ shops selling candies and tobacco, throughout the city.
To pay on buses, 🚎 trains 🚆 and the underground 🚇 you need to recharge the “SUBE” card (you can do that at every tube station or store or “kioskos” where you see the “Recarga SUBE” sign, and too at national lottery outlets, and at some kioskos with automated terminals (see image below) The Trains are economical and tickets can be purchased at the stations with cash or you can travel using the SUBE card too.
2- If you lose the SUBE card.
You can buy it in the same places where they recharge it with cash always. Or in any Subte Station.
3- The Subte (Underground – Metro)
The SUBTE is the underground of #BuenosAires and this is the main focus information.
Frequency:
In ruch our: 4 min (lines A, B, C, D); 6 min (line E ); 7 min (lines H y P)
Hours:
Monday to Friday: 5:30 to 23:30 hs. Saturday 6:00 to 23:59 hs. Sundays and holidays: 8:00 to 22:30 hs
Interesting Notes:
– The BsAs underground system is 105 years old. (Line A the first to be built)
– It has a security system for cameras, police, and emergency medical assistance
available.

4- The Interactive Map
Also called BA ¿Cómo llego? (How do I get there?) is an online map and downloadable app that can help you find the best way to get from A to B in the city, whether on public transport, by car or on foot.
Use online – BA Subte – or – BA Cómo llego – It gives indications about which route or transport to take from point A to point B in the city. Here the link to use online app. Also yo have the news in the instagram @basubte if you want.
5- The BUS (“Colectivos”)
The buses are a cheap and efficient way to get around the city. They run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and cover the whole city. Usually find yourself more than a few blocks from a bus stop. And you can use the app or website of BA cómo llego to know how use it.
6- Is Uber available in Buenos Aires?
YES Uber is indeed available in Buenos Aires. Currently (2020) there are no problems to use the service, pay with your personal account or credit card.
The only restriction you should know is that Uber access to the downtown of Buenos Aires also called “Microcentro” is not allowed during the active office hours. But if you go to our #HjoyPlace in Retiro Neighborhood the driver can leave you two blocks away.
☝🏻 And, If you have any question about the use of SUBE or any items is this post plase let us know.
